I seem to have spent decades in college, and after a long period of time I finished a doctorate in 1999, in psychology, art therapy, and marriage and family practice. There are times I wonder where the time went, but I can't imagine another life other than the one I chose, even though there were times that have been difficult. I have published on the topic of art therapy. Art therapy is one of the great joys of my life. I work in private practice, as a consultant for organizations, and an independent contractor. I prefer working for myself. Periodically I lecture and teach, although I used to do a lot more of that, traveling a lot is not as easy as it used to be. Sometimes I still paint and take photos.
